Hello,
I got married in the year 2011 and later after the marriage i came to know that the girl is already married prior to marriage with me and without obtaining divorce from the court, the second marriage took place. At that time the girl was on a four month family way. Immediately when my in-laws came to know that I am aware of this face, they took the girl with them. they aborted the pragnancy. On this, i filed a police complaint against all of them which resulted into FIR u/s 494, 495, 420, 312 and 120B of IPC against girl & other four family members.
Now the challan has been moved to court and charges have been framed. At this stage SSP concerned is calling me to his office time & again threatening me dire consequences if compromise not took place between us. SSP is making preasure on me to withdraw the case and to compound the office. He is issuing me "Parwana" from his office to attend him. Now what I have to do? what are my legal rights here? how can i stop infringment of my rights by SSP?

If the case os true then do not withdraw the case.
The SSP seems to have some interest in this case and what is he doing is purely criminal.
Immediately bring this to the notice of his higher authority including the court of law.

complaint to police commissioner regarding the conduct of SSP . send copy to local newspapers . aslo in nexdate of hearing indform court about threats received by you
