Age consideration for employment

Sir my date of birth is 08.08.1981, i am working in a organisation for 4 years, recently they published a advertisment for vacancies and the age limit was 30 yrs, the last date for application acceptance was 26.08.2011 and all qualification, age etc would be recokened on same date, here my age was 30 years 18 days for advertisement (means 30 continued), can my application be rejected on the ground, please suggest

If Pvt co. , can relax, nearest fig is 30 yrs. Most probably they will not reject, as working for 4 yrs.

Sir mine is central government funded institute and i am a contractual emp. If max age is written as 30 then for General candidate is 30 years and OBC candidate is 33 (as relaxed by 3 years after satisfying criteria of certificate) and if 28 years then OBC candidate age is 31 years and if same thing happens then (again 31 years some months and days) then what is the criteria can be considered and what condition stays for percentage of marks, please reply
