There was no equal right in the ancestral properties to the daughters prior to 2005.

Many points are missing in your query like the year of death of great grand father and his subsequent events year wise so that we may be facilitated with accurate facts and in turn may be got expected to provide authentic reply thereto.

I Dont know the year of my grate grand father death, but my grand mother died in the year 1989 january. but all the brothers had divide the properties at 1981.
2 Daughters are married before 1972. and one of the daughter husband also put sign for witness to 4 brothers are divide the properties.

Daughters have equal share so it is better to compromise and give some money and get a ratification deed from them in your favour

#Estherpriya! How can and what which law and section, you can say that daughters in the given matter are entitled for the equal share?

You have not provided us complete facts so it is very difficult for anyone to come to the right conclusion. I stand upon my previous view.

Good evening sir...
Our Grate grandfather had a property od 16 acres, which had been acquired by govt and the govt had given the property in diff place.
Since our grate grand father had only one daughter They got her married and kept their son-in-law with them, later our grand mother had 4 sons and 2 daughters and they divide the property in the year1981 with the panchyat parikath and kathas, from that day to till date they didn't have any problem but after my father exipered they have sent the notice Saying that they want equal share so what can we done, and what and all documents are required to win the case.
