Loan balance recovery leagal notice

I had recently taken a housing loan from Punjab National Basnk - New Delhi for purchasing of flat from M/s. Unitech lted under subvention scheme (no Pre emi interest to be paid by customer and the builder is will the same for next 18months). the laon has started from sEpt 2011. Yesterday I received a leagal notice from PNB Housing for non payment of some pending payment. When I contacted the responsible branch they told me not to worry and ignore the notice.
What should I do now? Should I have to reply to the notice ? or Should contact builder for payment of arrears ? pl suggest
