Transfer of shares after death

Respected Sir,
With reference to above subject, please note the position as below & have your best reply.

There is a flat in Napean Sea Road in Mumbai.

The flat was in name of Husband & Wife and the daughter.

The husband expired recently and mother having only one daughter wants to transfer the full share of her husband to her daughter.

What procedures to be followed to delete the name of Husband from share certificate as well to include name of daughter in the property.

There is one another flat in which two brothers & wife of the brother who died are holding 33,34 & 33 %, now the brother who is alive wants to transfer the shares to daughter of his brother.

What are the detailed procedure for both scenario?

relinquishment deed prepare and transfer one to others, it is very easy method, and get the death certificate and legal heir certificate to transfer in your name in the assets deed it is very useful

has he made any nomination ?


was the flat purchased in name of husband wife and duaghter?

by the way if flat is in nepeansea road in mumbai it must be worth in crores . the going rate id 50,000 to 60,000 per square feet .
why cant you engage services of a lawyer ?

Dear Mr. Ajay,
Shareholders in the flat are Husband, Wife & daughter in one case where now wife wants to transfer the shares of husband in the name of daughter.

Husband has no will & nomination.


In second case, husband & wife along with brother of husband are shareholder now the suviving brother and widow wife wants to transfer the shares of the expired husband and surviving brother in the name of daughter.

In this case also there is no will and no nominations

what to do, please suggest.

society will transfer flat in name of legal heris . contact the society secretary for said purpose . mother can subseqently gift flat to daughter .
