Dear Experts,

During the period of Strike can the employee/s mark their attendance?

During the period of lockout can the employee/s mark their attendance?

1) No attendance mark, if employee is on strike.

2) No. Question arises, when there is lockout, how the employee would be able to enter the premises and mark his attendance?

Dear Sir,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Now the question is if the employee/s are on pen down strike they have to enter the premises so can they mark their attendance

Because once the strike declared as legal by competent authority then how an employer can pay the salary ( I am talking about attendace during Strike period )?

How he will come to know how many employees were present?

PEN DOWN STRIKES STARTS AFTER ENTERING IN THE WORKING PLACE SO NATURALLY THE EMPLOYEES AFTER SIGNING THEIR ATTENDANCE STARTS STRIKING BUT IN THE CASE OF LOCKOUT THE EMPLOYEES HAVE NO SCOPE TO ENTER IN THE WORKING PLACE TO SIGN THEIR ATTENDANCE.
