You have not told the mode of transfer of money of Rs.20lakhs as well as its date by your friend Mr. Reddy to man introduced Mr. Srikanth, and the time passed since the which is very crucial to think about remedies that may be available legally to Mr. Reddy.Do not rely too much on aftermath done for promissory note etc.

If transfer of money is proved then making it a case of partnership orally arrived at will be more better case provided formalities of registration etc.is possible.

mr reddy no lawyer on this site is going to advise you fill in the blanks in stamp paper for preparation of agreement .

before investing 20 lakhs had you spent 10,000 on legal fees you would not have been in this situation today .

how wasd rs 20 lakgs given ?
was it by cash or cheque?

has mr reddy sent any emails etc to his friend turned foe shrikant regarding the loan given of rs 20 lakhs?

has mr srikant sent any reply to emails, letters etc?

you better consult a local lawyer

It is better to engage a local lawyer because chain of events mentioned by you do not seem with proper facts.
