stamp duty on relinquishment deed

dear sir,

our father died intestatate in 2009.

we are four surviving members, mother and three daughters .

we three daughters want to relinquish our right over the property, mv over 90 lacs in favour of our mother.

OUR QUERY

WOULD IT BE NOMINAL STAMP DUTY FOR REGISTRATION OF THIS RELINQUISHMENT DEED WITHOUT CONSIDERATION WHICH IS A FAMILY MATTER.?

IF SO WHAT WOULD BE THE STAMP DUTY PAYABLE FOR REGISTRATION.

THE PROPERTY IS IN LUCKNOW, UTTAR PRADESH.

Yes it would be nominal stamp duty for registration of Relinquishment deed and same should be check with Sub-Registrar Office. Every state having stamp act in that for various conveyance deeds stamp duty charges are mentioned except sale deeds.

As per The Indian Stamp Act, 1899 as applicable in Uttar Pradesh, you have to pay stamp duty @7% and As per notification 1% stamp duty remission to woman upto 10 lacs value of Property.
