sir ,my question is we have property which is in the name of my mother in law now her daughter is claiming for the share in that property who is debarred by her mother as after my mother in law my sons along with my husband have the share in that property as equal or have more right then my husband and her daughter as for my sons it would be the ancestral property.

Dear Anonymous,
Your post is more in the nature of argument in your favour rather than putting the facts and posing the query. Do not be judge of your own cause. First tell the complete facts. Then ask your specific query. Let others answer your query.

insufficient facts to answer the query.

Even though being ancestral property, your children shall also become co-sharer to that property but they cannot get the property partitioned at this stage. You mother in law is still alive. After her demise the aforesaid property shall devolve in the names of her legal heirs and this process shall go on.
