Can the marriage be nullified

I got legally married to a person on 9 july 2008.After that we never stayed to gether and now its been 6 months we are not in contact with each other can it be nullified.I have tried my all possible means to cntact him bt he changed his number and presently i have no trace of him I tried to call him in his previous number bt he rejected my calls.Can this marriage be nullified?
Or can I get a divorce from him

you can apply divorce, send the legal notice to your wife and notice any news paper
