Octroi is not an acronym. It is a term denoting a particular kind of tax. This is for your kind information.

Sir i did go through the website but could'nt find the answer i was looking for, my query is suppose i send goods to Maharashtra which is sold there at Rs.1000 which is its MRP, i am giving discount of 40% to the franchisee but i am paying octroi at 1000. so can i pay octroi on MRP less discount i.e.600 by any means. is there anything given in octroi law.
