Eviction procedure

Respected Sir/ Madam, We settled in U.K and own flat in mumbai, but we came to know that someone occupied it illegally without any consent or agreement. Please advice us what to do when we go there, can police do anything or we need to go through court procedure, thanking you.

Was it in a CHS?
Was There NO CARETAKER on your behalf to look after?

Any way an FIR to police at once is required
to be filed.

A civil lawsuit for declaration of title and restoration of possession as well damages for illegal occupation is ALSO MUST AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
