Can't we register unapproved plots in chennai? is any law passed by court?

sir,
i heard from a seller that we cannot register unapproved land in chennai a law is passed.The result is on 22 oct 2016.till then we cant register any unapproved land?is it true?

Usually the dept. of Local Bodies that is mother body of say MC, Urban Development Authority, Improvement trust etc, issues notifications for regularization.

It si election time and local state govt may agree to regularize.

Any way it is always better to purchase sites only in approved layout.

If that be, you may wait up to that date of 22 oct 2016. What is the actual problem or hurry in registering, you should discuss that.
