Eligibility for a government job

Sir,
I am a btech graduate ,preparing for govt jobs. During my college days a ragging case had been filed against me as part of a personal grudge by my junior. As a result I was arrested and did was lodged against me. But later on no hearing was done and before one year the case was quashed in the high court . Now no case is pending against me.
Will this past Fir record affect my career if I get selected somewhere?????

As the case was quashed by the Hon'ble HC and no case is pending now, there is no problem in this regard.

Thank you sir for your valuable feedback. I was a little bit pressurised when someone said an adverse statement regarding this issue. May be ,he was unaware of the issue.
