Sir , I have appeared in a departmental exam of a PSU bank . The written exam results were declared and my name has appeared in the interview list . After 2 days from the list my name has been removed . The list was available at the bank intranet site and was visible to everyone later in the new list the name has been removed without giving a reason .
Though we have asked for a clarification , no further clarification have been given , even the interview is over and final list of successful candidates have been published.
This event has caused lot of mental trauma . What can be the further course of action..Please guide

Do not waste time. File a Writ petition in high court.

What is the source of your information regarding your name had appeared in the list for interview?
If you have it, move in writ petition before High Court, as advised by Sh. Devajyoti Barman, an expert on the subject matter, I agree with him.

Generally Bank call fix no.(say 1.5 or 2 times of seats) of candidates for interview from the successful candidates in written exam. as per merit. Please refer your Bank policy in the matter.
However, if nothing available, also confirm whether any departmental case is pending or likely to be initiated against you.
You can represent to the Bank through proper channel, if no response, move with a writ petition.

Since it is a PSU bank, you can get the information under RTI.
