Dear Friends, Can a newly formed company which has not appointed any staff yet authorise an employee of its associate/group company for the start up work like dealing with Govt. deprtment, representaion before govt authorities.Is an employee forbidden by law to work for another company while he is on the roll of only one company.

Depends upon the understanding of both companies.

It is private employment. They are asking the employee to work for their group company. Nothing wrong. Dealing with the organisation whether private or Government on behalf the company is a normal duty of the employee. Representing before the Government Authorities to sign on the behalf of the company, unless POA is given, the government agency will not accept. All these things are common in private employment. Need not have to rush for legal advice.
