possession of rental house

Dear sir,
My father own a house property in gujarat which is on rent since long back , now my father want to get back that house vacate . Inspite of several time told to the tenant for vacate the house tenant every time avoid it?
In this case what should I do. ? Is there any law under which landlord get shelter.?

Eviction of tenant is a lengthy process,however if you like to seeks relief then you can send a Legal Notice to the tenant calling for quit and vacate the house for your own use.If the tenant would not comply then file a Suit for Eviction of Tenant on reasonable requirement ground in Civil Court where the property is situated.

Law is there , that fvr tenant, so settle with tenant. pay half the property value. !!!
Everybody do it, not a special case!! common practice. follow it, or forget ur property.
