You have to file an application to dismiss the DV Act in view of the declared marriage null and void.
Arun Kumar Bhagat (Expert) 21 October 2011
DV case will go on as legally valid marriage is not the essential criteria of the DV Act. Marriage has become null & Void but there was domestic relationship so it will continue.
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 21 October 2011
If there was a domestic relationship, DV can continue despite a void marriage.

Thank you all for answers. Will I have to give her shelter, compensation etc to her in DV? How is it decided. My house is not on my name it is on parents name.
Also please tell how it can be more dangerous that 498a. please reply.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 22 October 2011
You have nothing to provide her being your marriage has been declared null and void. Make an application to dismiss DV application being not maintainable in the changed circumstances/
Somnath mukherjee (Expert) 22 October 2011
IF THERE IS ANY TYPE RELATIONSHIP THEN D.V WILL CONTINUE NOW IT IS DEPEND UPON YOUR CASE WHETHER THE DV WILL CONTINUE OR NOT IT IS BETTER FOR YOU TO CONSULT YOUR LAWYER OR WITH ME FOR DETAILS
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 24 October 2011
The nullity of the marriage may or may not help.
If it is proved that immediately after discovering the lacuna you filed for nullity of marriage and both of you hardly stayed together then no domestic relationship gets established.
So it all depends upon your peculiar fact situation.
