Adverse possession

dear sir,
i was alloted some land for industrial purpose by the district industrial development authority and i was also sanctioned loan amount from the bank.now what happened that building(shade
)of the factory was built in the adjacent land of my allotted plot. i also didnt care at that time and there was no objection at all .but now it is more then 40 years and i came to know that the plot comes under greenland. now can i dispose of that property which does not belongs to me together with my allotted plot.do i acquire right and title by way of adverse possession?

While construction of shed the site engineer must have inspected the actual geographical position of plot, keeping view in that inspection you can claim factum of possession secondly what is about the plot which you had taken the possession? If you send details there will be way out.may contact.

Greenland is of State meant for common use which remained in your possession since last 40 years without any objection along-with your own adjacent plot, do not given right in your favour to claim adverse possesson. State is cusodian of public land only.

Rule of Adverse possession would not apply if the state acquire or gives certain land special status of use.

2.you have not been hostile but have labored in confusion and doubts,
3.there can be no pleading of adverse possession against public land.

All shows you unable to prove ADVERSE POSSESSION.
