Please advise how practically list of witnesses is filed in a civil case in a district court means which form is used for the purpose. Further, whether it is filed before evidence or when evidence of plaintiff is over.

academic query you know well is not replied;
however no form is used only on a4 size paper before commencement of evidence is the practice rule.

Thanks very much Respected Shri Prabhakar Singh Ji and Respected Madam Archana Ji.
Please advise when it should be filed the latest as the case is fixed for 16th August, 2013. Further, it may be advised whether written evidence can also be filed in advance and if so by when the latest for 16th August, 2013.

Witness list should be filed after framing of issues. If by written evidence you mean to say affidavit and documents then, yes they can be filed.

The case is ex-parte and is fixed for Plaintiff's evidence on 16.8.2013. Such evidence is proposed to be filed by way of written evidence. Queries are:
1. Can written evidence be filed in advance i.e. before 16th August and if so by when the latest before the date?
2. Under these circumstances, can list of witness be also filed in advance and if so by when latest in this case.
3. At what stage issues will be framed?
