Within that date you would receive the notice. If you want to know the details of the case, cheque the court register . Senior Civil Court has the jurisdiction to entertain the divorce petition. If you are living in another city, you will have to cheuqe the court register of your husband's city.

If you know the details of the case and the court where it is pending, you can appear in that court on your own volition and take notice in the matter. You need not wait for the formal service of the notice from the court. This will neutralise any effort on the opposite side to defraud you and take a decree ex parte in the same.

If you have come to know the court proceedings against you, what are you waiting for? Just go and inquire from the court as posted by the expert, that the case is against you and that you wish to contest the case.
