Court marriage

(Querist) 09 February 2012 This query is : Resolved
now i am law student,if somebody want to do court marriage we have to appoint a lawer or without lawer we can do,and what procedure we have to apply?
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 09 February 2012
In no case it is mandatory to appoint a lawyer.

About registration, if you are married by religious law and ceremonies and want to register the marriage, it can be done at the registrar office of your area.

If you want to get married at registrar office, you have to go, pay prescribed fee after which a notice would be issued that these two people want to get married and if no one objects within 30 days, you can get married in the same registrar's office after 30 days.

"no courts conducting marriage"

your query is vague., since you are a law student you should be role model to laymen by your queries., but?

No lawyer is needed.
