Situation
1) Open Plot in hyderabad sub urban municipal area on a Father
2) Father Died in 19XX year
3) Son wants to sell the said open plot
4) Right now he has his fathers sale deed

What other documents required to buy from son?

You should ask for the mutation entry of the son's name in the revene records (Tahsildar).

is the son only legal heir of the father? first property has to be mutated in name of legal heirs . if done then only with consent of other legal heirs son can sell property

All legal heir is eligible to mutated in their name. First take Legal Heir certificate that Only son's name are mentioned only.
