Hi, The advertisement by airtel which streams video for Re.1 seems to affect adversely on people over a period of time with already the value for money being being lost in the economy. Should that advert carry any disclaimer, please clarify.

Ofcourse entertainment is relaxation for anybody.
Scenario 1
Buying household products (any) e.g. milk,provision,vegetable, if a person is to return Re.1 for shopkeeper and shows a video unlike the advert it can create havoc.
Possible disclaimer: All information in this advert is subject to sale of airtel products only.

It is an advertisement to promote Airtel's video services.
There is nothing more to it.
Nobody can compel you to see the video in place of Rs.1. Similarly nobody can compel anybody to show a video for Rs. 1.
Therefore You can insist for balance of Rs. 1 or in the alternative give exact change thus obviating the situation where the other person has to give you balance of Rs. 1 and he does not have any change!
No disclaimer as suggested by you is necessary. Airtel has not laid down any law. It is just like any other advt. and they are well within their rights.

Your query does not relate to your personal problem, reven remotely.
Evem if the advert would need to carry any disclaimer, in what capacity you would do that in Airtel's Ad, as you are merely a blogger as per your profile, not the marketing Head of Airtel?
In your profile, you have also shown yourself as a resource coordinator, whom do you provide resources and of which type?
