Adverse police report for current address

The police are happily giving adverse report for current address. This is despite the fact that I am resident at current address since 1985. Please suggest lawyer who can help in this situation. I live in navi Mumbai.

what are reasons why police is giving adverse report about current address? police must have made enquires with your neighbours whether you are staying in said flat or not

You should submit proofs regarding your present address to the authority on behalf of which the inquiry was made and also to higher police office giving reference to the previous inquiry with a request to resubmit the same.
