Partition suit

Suppose I go for a partition suit but the other survivors do not want the property to be divided in that manner.Can they take any steps against me?

No legal step could be taken except challenging your due share in the joint property when you would file a suit for partition which you could do at any point of tiime.

Claiming Your legal Share through legal process is the proper way when your other Share Holders are not co-operating /or/ if they dispute your legal share !
