can a case u/s 279,337 & 338 ipc be compounded in the court without taking bail, at the time of producing the challan by the police...please reply & mention the section also.

First take bail. Without taking bail the court may ignore such attempt.

Bail is must to be taken by the accused person otherwise the question of compounding do not arise.

Without taking the bail it cannot be compounded

Once u seek bail prefer an application u/s 320 of Cr. P. C before the court. File a Joint pursis that both the parties are ready to compound the matter pursuant to which the court shall pass orders on the compounding application.
