Whether any one from your family will get compassionate appointment or not will mainly depend upon the present income of your family. Assume for a while that most of the family members are already employed and have a moderate income to sustain themselves, then the question of offering compassionate employment to anyone from the family of the deceased may not be considered.
So, it would be better for you to approach the BEHL authorities and find out the position.

Whether do you qualify to get a compassionate appointment or not is a different question.
You should have applied for the appointment within three years of death within three years of your majority which ever is earlier.

relevant rules are important in this regard now, a job merely on the basis of compassionate ground may not be termed as a matter of right.

The status of BHEL is not purely Central Govt. it is an undertaking corporate of central Govt.so,it has own rules regarding the employment on compassionate ground.Consider your family income may be your eligibility. If the BHEl authority would not consider you, then you can approach to the High Court.

I agree with the experts Arunagiri and Kiran Kumar. In addition to their opinion, I add the following:-
No earning family member should be therein the family. Even any one of the family members are earning, then now a days people are coming up with a request that "the earning family member is separated from the family and he is not taking care of the entire family". Then also compassionate appointment is being given.

Yes. Am also agree with mr.ramachandran and mr.minansu. If they not considered your request mean approach your high court by writ petition under service law.

Mr.Pawan,
I have inquired about the BHEL's policy on compassionate appointments.
There is no such a scheme available in BHEL.
My suggestion is to file a writ petition to create a compassionate appointment scheme in BHEL also. Because almost all the State owned corporations are having compassionate appointment schemes.
By this writ, the court may order for compassionate appointment scheme in BHEL also, consequently will order to consider your case.
Some times the BHEL is offering some rule relaxations during the regular selection, for appointing the heirs of their deceased employee.
