my father had written a WILL in 2014, registered .WILL even if it is registered in Registrar office any needs to be probated.How long period need to get probated WILL .

What is effect of that WILL after probate

It is mandatory to probate the WILL in presidential towns of Mumbai,Chennai,Kolkota.

Is the estate narrated in WILL at these locations?

Registration of will has no relevance with the probating of the will.

Will need not be probated except specified cities.

It is always better to get it probated.

Is the WILL submitted to authority under whose jurisdiction property falls and acted upon without any cloud on it?

Or the WILL is contested?

Why to delay to submit the WILL?

Probate of the WILL is certainly better option and on it fully agreed with Mr. R.K. Nadna, Mr. Rajendra K Goyal.

For: Time taken in Probate court of pecuniary jurisdiction, local counsel can advise you the best.
