Can a non member but a flat owner in a co op. society become office bearer or committee member of a co op society ?
In a Co-operative Housing Society, if a person is made an associate member, after following the due procedure as per the Bye-Laws of CHS, he can represent the flat owner at the AGM, he can cast vote on behalf of the member, he can also stand for election to the Managing Committee, and can be made a member of the Managing Committee.
