My bank bounced my cheque in spots of sufficient funds in the account.Under what section of IPC can the bank be prosecuted

The bank officials did not follow written instructions regarding current account linked liquid deposits and cheque bounced. How do I prosecute the Bank

First exhaust the remedies available before you by approaching the Bank manager in writing, then to his higher official seeking relief, if you do not get proper response, you may approach the Banking Ombudsman with all the details and copies of your complaint with the bankers,after that if you still are not given with satisfactory reply, you may approach the consumer forum for deficiency of services by bank.
