309 ipc after conviction

(Querist) 23 January 2012 This query is : Resolved 
i want to ask again that , After conviction , whether i can apply for any government job and will get character certificate etc.

you may apply but job will be given if the essential requirements are fulfiled.....in certain type of services a conviction by court is disqualification.

better see the requisite rules.
