Perhaps no.
Better check with insurers or their agents. We should not be expected out right to know all insurance policies being marketed by various companies.

If it is there, lakhs will marry & divorce and earn out of it!It will increase Divorce cases, as it earlier happened with clubbing income of Husband and Wife, for Income Tax Purpose and Govt Dropped it. Though the objective was correct.
I had not heard any Marriage insurance, and no one will take such risk ti to insure Marriage Bond at present in India.

Every insurance company is having accident insurance policy. Insurance amount depends upon the loss of limbs or life.
I thing the same thing happens in the marriage also. I suggest all the husbands can be compelled to take this policy, like what we do for vehicles.

Dear authorAnonymous!
I can not deny your concern that in view of increasing Divorces putting unexpected financial burden of alimony on husbands such an insurance may prove a boon for husbands.
But Insurance companies are doing business they formulate policies on the basis of their viability and if they do not offer such policy there can not be any compulsion on them to issue such a policy unless government either by some legislation or by some promotional drive compel them to issue such policies.

I guess such insurance policy is against public policy, unscrupulous people can very easily misuse it.
I tried checking on google, there is no such policy anywhere in the world, however, policies exist to cover expenses of marriage, if marriage is called off.
