can an executive association be registered under trade union act as their application for registration was rejected by the society registration act??????? Dear expets pls advise

Your query is like hide seek game.
Under Society registration Act,only non profit organizations are allowed to be registered which are popularly known as NGOs.
So what do you mean by term"Executive association"is not ineligible to me at least.

trade union registration and society registration are different things and done by two different authorities.

Trade Unions Act applies to workmen unions only. If your members are not employees in workmen categary you cannot register them under TU Act. If you name your proposed association as Executives Welfare Association it may be possible to register it under the Societie Registration Act, 1860. Pl seek the guidance of the PRO in the Registrar's Office.

There is an association called "Executives Association" formed by executives of the organisation of Central Public Sector Enterprise and it was registered under the Trade Union Act.The association is looking after the welfare of the executives. I can not also understand the logic of being registered under Trade union act. But I find as per section 2(b)of the said act it regulates the relation between employers and employees also. So the association may be take plea of the above proposition. So the constitution of the organisation under registered tade union act is challengble???? Pls share your view.

I do not know whether the information given by you that an Executives Association is already registered under the TU Act. I feel that it must be actually non officer categary employees. You may if possible get a copy of their MOA and the Rules and see the contents to know the correct position.
