Suppose on behalf of my client ( as a lawyer) for XYZ company,. i will send a legal notice to ANY another pvt ltd company for recovery of debts ... shall i NEED to send a notice in the name of company or may it should be mandatory to also send a copy of notice to its Directors also.......

IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO SEND THE NOTICE SPECIALY TO ITS DIRECTORS. BUT DUE TO SOME LEGAL CONFUSION IF THE NOTICE SEND BOTH THE NAMES THEN ITS BATTER FOR FUTURE. IF YOU GIVE DETAIL ALL THE FACTS THEN I WILL BE GIVE YOU BEST ADVICE.

Since the company is juristic person, the re is no need to address the Director. Company would be a competent addressee as relief lies against it.

There is no specific section rather it is a prerogative of lawyers provided to them under Advocates Act, 1961 to issue notice to any person on behalf of his client.
