Donation through will

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 23 August 2020 This query is : Resolved
II have no family. I wish to donate a large part of my wealth for charity after my death. I understand that I can prepare a Will for this. But I am finding it difficult to find a trustworthy person to execute the will. Is there any solution to this problem ?

Have you chosen the institution / trust in favor of whom you wasn’t to bequeath a will?

If so trustee / management of institute / trust can be entrusted the said duty.

Mr. Anonymous
Though there are no requisite details made available for us to advise properly eg. Property/amount involved, type of charity you intend to do etc. Still for specific purpose of yours, you can create a trust, with Trustee of your trust, clearly stipulating the manner of their future selection, line of operations etc. etc. By the way whatever you want to do, why don't you do that in your lifetime atleast the surplus, post your requirements can be used for the purpose.

Incomplete material fact, you need to find out the trustworthy organization or donate it to your close relatives.

You want a trustworthy person ( one trustworthy to you) to do something. You cannot find a trustworthy person. That is a problem and you need a solution.

A person trustworthy to you cannot be found out by anybody else because trustworthiness is a relation of a person to you which others cannot understand at all and identify who has that quality. A person trustworthy to another person need not be trustworthy to you. So you alone can find out a trustworthy person.

If you cannot find out a trustworthy person, just leave the property as it is and it will reach some hands as the natural course of event suggests.

As per me, there are more registered Charitable Institutions in India. And many people are maintaining (registered) charitable institutions at their in and around places. so search it in Google and select, if necessary enquire then transfer to any charitable institute who running in a pleasant atmosphere.

Better make will that your property will become (escheat) and used for specific education purpose and collector/government can use your property for given purpose.
