Defamation

(Querist) 16 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
i would like to inquire as how to file a criminal case of defamation against a person in my society who has been standing outside my society everyday with a hoarding which states my name and alleges me of committing a crime which lead to the death of her husband,i had an altercation with her son and they went to the police station and filed an fir stating that i have entered their house and beat up her husband and her son, her husband was very old and sick, who died after a few months cause of his sickness but she tells everyone on the streets that it was cause of me that he died.
i would like to know if i have a case of defamation against her and her son who also stands with he on the streets. the reason for her behavior of holding a hoarding outside the society now is because her house false ceiling collapsed and she wants me to get it repaired for her as i stay above her flat.

She has a history of abusing her husband and wants to trouble the whole society, there has been almost 40 NC filed against her son by various society members and a builder also offered to redevelop our society but she refuses to do the also. On humanitarian groups I would repair her ceiling but she has already accused me of trespass and is capable of creating another issue if I even go inside her house.

even if lady refuses if majority of members want redevelopment society can go ahead and redevelop .you can request the lady to get ceiling repaired and you would foot the bill

If nothing works out, just ignore her and go ahead with your routine work, that would keep you mentally occupied than keep worrying about such sundry issues.
