Dear sir,
my uncle is a retired govt. Employee and getting a pension from government. My question is can pension earner govt. Employee do a job and simultaneously eligible to receive a pension. Please sir give suggestions to me with provision if any in the law.

A retired employee can do whatever that he wants to do except criminal acts and deeds. Just because one is receiving pension does not mean that he should not do any other employment. A government servant is not allowed to do job elsewhere. But that rule will not apply to a retired government servant.
I think you have some objection to your uncle doing a job after retirement and that's why you are asking this question and certainly not with a mind to help him or to give support to his action.

There are some restrictions for 2 years after retirement from the Govt services.
The retired employee has to get permission from the govt, if he wants to join in a commercial establishment.
Every state and central, govt undertaking agencies have their own rule.
You have to see the exact rule for the said employee's service rules.

I agree with Mr Arunagiri and I would add if he has retired from Gp-A post the restriction is not just for two years.

my uncle was having a job in gujarat under Ahmedabad municipal corporation. So from where I come to know that is there any pre condition for foing a job?

Some Govt. departments have framed rules about service after retirement, specifically in the firms had dealing with the deparment / organisation. Confirm from the service rules.

all municipal corporation generally follow rules of state govt which are copied from central govt. You have been explained rules of central govt. Now it is for your uncle to follow or not.
Or else let him read the conduct rules applicable to the said municipality if they have different provision.
