Can my wife change the divorce case place to her city?

I have filed a divorce case from kolkata, as my marriage was commenced in kolkata, I am a resident of kolkata, my wife from nasik, both being same caste and bengali. Can my wife divert all the case to nasik family case? Currently i got a job in pune. my parents live in kolkata. she is living with her parents in pune.

I want the process to happen in kolkata only.

she can file transfer application in supreme court for transfer of case to pune . convenience of lady is taken into account .

in present case since you are working in pune no prejudice would be caused if case is transferred to pune .her transfer application would be allowed

It shall be better for you both to get the petition transferred to Pune otherwise also it is generally got transferred at the place of residence of wife.

no need to worry I dont think so that she will be go to SC for filing transfer petition against you to transfer the cases in Nasik, it is not easy to get transfer order from SC the court consider the facts and circumstances of the case, distance, if any child live with wife, ant support from her family or not, working or house wife,

You need not take any step. Let her get case trf to Pune/ Nasik at her cost & trouble.

Case will be trf at place of her residence if sh apply to SC.
