Dear Sir/Madam
I am having few queries in a single case. The case is, one of our employee is associated with us in a retail shop since 2013 in Haryana, hence in 2021, he has become eligible for Gratuity. We took over someone's buisness in November 2017 and operated till April 2021. Due to Covid-19, we are shutting down our business owing to severe losses.
The employee's monthly Gross Salary is ₹23,000 ( Basic-₹9,000, HRA-₹4,500, Other Allowances-₹ 9,500). The employee is Class 10th pass and had done 6 months certificate course only
My question is-
1. Is it necessary that Basic salary should be equal to the Minimum Wages of the State?
2. As per our calculations, his gratuity payable was ₹38,878. Please help me if my calculations are wrong. No. of years of service-7.5 years
3. Minimum Wages in 2018 when we revised salary, we considered him in Semi Skilled (A) worker was ₹8,969.
Thanks

I am looking plot in Nashik, that whole survey number having one litigation which is already disposed off by senior district civil court and so lis pendency already removed. Now against that order or decree defendant filled one appeal in divani court so i have following questions.
1) Appeal filled against main suit order so what are the chances that appeal will sustain particularly on order 1) already executed sale deed of plots wont be cancelled as purchasers already paid consideration for the same.
2) Can lis pendency again register in respect of Appeal.

Sir , we own an independent two storeyed house. It's my father's property. We've rented the first floor to a family.
We've got a stairway which goes directly to the terrace ....from the ground floor to the first floor to the terrace.
Whom does our terrace belong to ? The owner ( us ) or the tenant ? Or is it common for both of us ?
Hi Sir
My name is Tony Koovaparampil, I had booked 5 tickets to Kerala from Madgoan (Goa) to Kottayam (Kerala) on 6th of May, the train is been cancelled due to some sort of reason may be due to the increases of Corona virus cases in India. However the ticket is cancelled and the booking agent caught around 600 rupees from me and when I questioned him they were very rude, this is not not just about money I just want them to learn how to treat customers well, where can I lodge a complaint against them?
Regards
Tony

Gift deed from grandmother to grandson living abroad
Hi,
My grandmother wants to gift me an immovable property. However, I live outside of India. Is there a way I can give my mother the power of attorney to act on my behalf. Also, what is the right legal way to do this?
