Sir,
My Client named Mr.A his wife "N" is an Insurance agent (LIC). Most of marketing done through Mr. A .
The problem occurred when A while marketing promised Mr. P for long term gain by investing for 5yrs plan in LIC.
the Complainant P malafidely wrote all figures on blank paper and copied initial of Mr. A that only indicates summation of principle amount plus other bonus and other benefits.
Now on maturity the complainant P. got principal amount plus Bonus the total is 6000/- less than what indicated in the paper.
Can the complainant succeed in consumer Fora?
What are the defenses for our side if v failed to prove the paper signed if wrong?
Any land mark Cases regarding this pl inform me.

I am doing job outside. I have an ancestral land in my home town. Some persons with the help of my neighbor (Who is their relatives) tried to grab/occupy that land by starting cleaning and leveling and fencing it with bamboos. When I reached there, they started quarrelling with me. They belong to schedule castes, and threatened me that they will file a case under sc/st act, so I didn’t used force and fled from the scene. This I reported to Police. Police refused to entertain officially. But they took money, and scolded the miscreants unofficially. Now six months has passed peacefully, and I thought matter solved. Now I have heard that they are again planning to grab it. Land was fenced but people of that area have taken away all the fencing materials. Now I again I tried to fence it with pucca construction, but that neighbor with the miscreants are creating nuisance. Going again to police means, again they will ask money. I have all the valid documents to prove my ownership. What if violence occurs in the land, If I use force? Can they be restrained through court? Is evidence of trespass is available? Does disturbing another's possession is an offense? What are the proof of possession? What best remedy available to me except police and executive or what should I do? Please, suggest. If a person arrested us 363 and apply for bail, but court says that produce 3 persons to grant the bail. In such case
1.) what are responsibilities of the persons who will stand as bail and
2.) what will happen the persons who will stand as bail for accused if accused do some mischiefs.
Please guide me

I own two adjucent apartments no. 701 & 702 in Gitanjali chsl, Nehru Nagar, Kurla (E) Mumbai. While I live in 701 apartment I kept my second flat vacant for past 2 years. Now I want to give my flat on rent for 11 months from Feb 1, 2010 and I have finished all the formalities like registration of the agreement, police verification etc.
Today I met my society chairman and tried to give my rental documents to the society. The society chairman denied to accept it and asked me to pay a donation of 8000/- towards the society. He told me that all others who rent out their apartments have given this sum as a donation and only then the society allowed the tenant to move in. I asked him if he has anything written about it but he said that it is against the law to have such a thing and therefore there is nothing written in any of the meeting minutes but it is still followed and all other neighbouring societies also do the same. I flatly rejected the same saying that "if you do not have anything written why should I pay such a hefty donation for no reason to this society". I am still not a member of this society as they still haven't accepted our application for past 2 years. When I rejected to pay this donation, he threatened me that "the society will see how your tenant would move in then". He told me that he will not allow the new tenant to move his luggage into my apartment.
This new tenant would be moving on 1st february and therefore I am not sure what I can do against this society so that the new tenant would be able to take his baggage into my apartment.
Under the present situation, I personally feel that these people are well united and can collaborate to not let enter the new tenant. I want to know what legal action can I take if such thing happens and if there is something I can do now it would help.
Also, if there is a lawyer in mumbai who deals in such matter please provide me the number so that I can contact.

A boy age 23yrs his father died in dec 2005 .He (father)was a government medical officer(retirement is July 2010 ) and his stepmother is also government medical officer at present (Uttar Pradesh). Mother is legally wife of his father .He has no any brother n sister.
The problem is he want govt service (dying in harness) but govt rule is, if mother is already in service (govt) no service will be given to son in dying in harness. What will boy do because he is not able to take any benefit to govt and his condition too poor, step mother do not support/care to him financially. Instated of food n living which is temporary....... he is not able to take legal action to him. He cannot take any benefit like dying in harness in service and O.B.C certificate as like much governmental benefit ...how he (legally) take benefit to his mother and govt. At what age he may take maintenance to his mother......
Please suggest that what he do.plz..................
