My father is in class fourth government employee having monthly salary of 4.5 thousand. That is yearly less than 8 lakhs. And we don't own any our own house. We live in a house of my grandfather whose area is, I can, beyond 1000 square feet. We don't have our own independent house.And my father only owns 10 marlas of land. That is also agricultural land. And my grandfather owns, paternal grandfather owns 40 kanals of land, but that land is not divided. Am I eligible for EWS?The pathwarii is telling my father that it is must to have your own house .plz answer.

But pathwarii is not agreeing,he says he can't issue ews if one doesn't own it's own house within ews limit,what should I do now. Plz reply.

The patwari is not the competent authority. You may take up the issue with superior officers.

Under 7th Central Pay Commission recommendation pay scale of grade 1 (lowest) is as under:
Basic Pay: ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month
Grade Pay: ₹1,800 (tied to Level 1)
Allowances: Employees receive
Dearness Allowance (DA),
House Rent Allowance (HRA), and
Transport Allowance (TA) over the basic pay.
DA changes periodically based on inflation.
Approximate In-Hand Salary: Around ₹23,000 to ₹26,000 per month for entry-level staff depending on the city classification (X, Y, or Z class cities for HRA) after standard deductions like the National Pension System (NPS).
If you meant Pay Level 4 in the government pay matrix—which is often confused with Class 4/Grade 4—the entry-level basic pay is ₹25,500 per month, with an in-hand salary of roughly ₹41,000 to ₹44,000 per month.

You have missed (by omission or commission) to mention a last ZERO figure in Rs. 4,500/- in your post, isn't it? Otherwise, it is an unbelievable, false and fabricated story.

Yes yes i mistakenly wrote 4.5 it is 45000 rupees.And plz tell me know am i eligible ,and what should I do ?
