In our Co-op Housing Society in Mumbai one member unauthorisedly converted his residential flat into a garment works. The Society went to court and the member accepted what he was doing was wrong. He also gave an undertaking before the court that he will revert and restore the flat as a residence on
or before 31-05-10. He also complied with the
undertaking on the promised date. But recently he has again started using it as garment works. His action amounts to contempt or defiance of court order.
Is this a cognizable offence? Can action be taken under Cr.P.C.156,190 or 192? If not how can the Society proceed in the matter?

Respected members,
my client sold a car to 'A' through a sale deed in 50 rupees stamp paper.
After two months again he purchased the same car through a sale deed in a 2 rupees document sheet. the same was notarised with the signature and thumb impression of 'A'.
my client paid all the money when went to collect the car then 'A' refused to give the car. The original RC book of the Car is with my client. my client had lodged the police complaint but the police showed no interest.
my quiries are :
1. What is the action that can be initiated against 'A'?
2. How to stop 'A' from misusing the car?
3. Any other remedy available for the above situation?

We have purchased a plot in MIDC area but earlier company closed before 4-5 years ago though their sales tax with penalty on AY 94-95 is pending around Rs.9Lac. We wrote a letter to sales tax dept. for one time payment and clear all dues. Now we want to expand our business there so we are agree to pay all amounts. Sir/Madam we want to know it is possible to discount in same amount? if possible then same request letter write to whom? Sir/madam can you provide me the format if any available with you for seeking discount in sales tax.

the case is that the defendants have by way of information in a note to the dept of government stated that the exchange of letter of intent and further correspondence that took place between the plaintiff and the defendant is advised to to be a binding document as between the plaintiff and the defendant. now the plaintiff has filed the suit for specific relief on the basis of such letter of intent and letters of the defendant to the government for the specific performance of the said contract the terms of which are contained in the correspondence that took place between the parties.
the defendants contend that the letter was merely a letter of intent and not binding contract and the letters to the government cannot be said to be binding as the plaintiff was not party to such letter. please help me with the solution alongwith section and case law if possible.
my query is that whether such suit is maintainable?

Dear Experts
If S died leaving behind A B C D E & F as his legal heirs. Further A dies leaving behind G H I as his legal heir. and B died leaving behind J & K as his heirs. C died without any heir.
My question is if G dies who are all entitiled for G's shares. and what about the C's share.
kindly advise it is very urgent since the matter is pending before the Hon'ble Court.

I am a resident of Mumbai
I wish to start a new business ,that is a coffee shop which would serve Food and beverages.
The theme of my coffee shop would be fun and learning since it would be located near a college and would contain facilities such as a in-house library with around 2000 book to browse(read in premises only) and would also consist a few games like :chess, Taboo and other board games for entertainment. I was also planning to have a Xbox gaming console which would create a game arcade atmosphere. There will be simple music to sooth the mind. Right now i am starting at once place and plan to franchise from the third month and also have couple of more branches
