i have opened an a/c in hdfc bank. diposited money, bank provided me debit card thr. its emloyee, after some days bank had provided dabit pin mailer thr. its employee, after one day i came to know that i lost my debit card , i did not use my debit card and did not open debit pin mailer, i lost my money from atm of other bank which is near to hdfc bank, i reported to police station of oosing of debit card. and a letter date 2/8/2008 to bank also. bank did reply , again i sent a regd. legal notice dated 11/8/2008 to bank , bank inform me we sent a letter to u next day but due to fault of courier co. u did not get the same. thr. this letter we come to know bank has started investigation. but bank did not give any update about the investigation.
what is the liabilitis of bank in this case
what should i do?

Please let me know the value of stamp to be purchased for the new partnership deed.We stay at Madhya Pradesh. Earlier we have been drafting the deed on stamp value Rs. 1000/-.Now we have come to know that the stamp of Rs.5,000/- is required for the new partnership deed. Please suggest.

Restricted Passport facilities
i had applied for the passport in mumbai in nov07.thereafter i had been arrested under 498a, 420&34 of IPC.&released on bail after 2 days.
passport office had denied issue of passport but asked to avail the restricted passport facilities after producing the order from the court permitting to depart,
i had lost my job due to arrest.i wish to avail restricted passport facilities. if i have passport i may try to get the job abbrod.
now in my case chargesheet is file by IO in may08. & next date is sept08.
what are the chances of getting the court order for restricted passport in my case. as per my lawyers chargesheet reading his view, case is not that serious & are chances that i get aquittal easily. bcoz my wife has made only verbal allegations like asked dowry, harrassed & cheated. where as i have proof that her intention is to extort the money.
under this circumstances will i get court order easily,
my case is in bhoiwada court mumbai.
can anybody suggest me a good lawyer there for getting the order. as well as fighting the 498a case.
