I am Indian citizen, permanently residing in India. Suppose I transfer Rs x(income tax already paid) to my stock brokerage account with a broker in USA/UK. Thereafter staying in India itself, I do online trading over internet using the USA/UK brokerage account and make profit of Rs y, thus Rs x grows to Rs x+y.
Question: Am I supposed to pay income tax on my profit Rs y for the concerned financial year? Or I can wait another financial year and let Rs x+y to grow to Rs x+y+z and pay income tax on Rs y+z when I bring back Rs x+y+z back into India?

I resigned from my previous company on 14 July 2009 due to some dispute with my boss.
I have sent my resignation by official mail from home stating that “I understand that 30days notice is standard. However, if at all possible, I would appreciate you releasing me from employment with the company as soon as possible. I would be glad to provide any assistance I can during this transition."
My HR Manager called me on 16 July 2009 saying that please come to the office for completing handing over process and promised me for relieving ASAP. I cooperate with the company and completed the handover process within the week, but they have not relieved me as promised. They called me again and again to come; at least they relieve me on 30 August 2009 without full and final settlement. Now they are deducting salary for non serving of notice period.
Please suggest my course of action in this regard.
Thanks in advance

Company has given 1000 shares@Rs.10 to ESOP trust under Scheme A which has been purchased by trust via loan received from company itself. Out of above 200 shares not purchased by the employees. Vesting and exercise period expired. Now Company has to further give 1500 shares@Rs.20 ESOP trust under Scheme B. Now questions are?
1)Can trust utilize already existing 200 shares from Scheme A and further purchase from company only 1300 shares? Or it should sale the existing 200 shares in market and remit money after paying capital gain tax to company as repayment of loan.
2)If answer to pt 1. is yes then profit of 10*200=2000 will arise. what will be the tax treatment if trust is made for no profit no loss object?
