A case pertaining to Kamdhenu Yojna of Canara Bank. The case had been decided in favor of the applicant in 2010 but since applicant is stationed abroad and he gets no help from his relatives or friends. He gets very few days leave to visit India. The lawyer appointed by him doesn't help either thereby the applicant is helpless in recovering the amount through RC. District Consumer Forum had no web site or e mail can't be sent to the forum. Can anyone suggest the recourse available in such scenario.

Hi,
I have had posted my queries regarding filing a suit against an international carrier a few weeks ago, and was overwhelmed with responses respected lawyers in the forum gave.
With regards to same, I want to go ahead and file a complain against the airline at chennai Consumer Forum. I have been advised to proceed witht he help of a lawyer.
Can you please suggest me a lawyer, who might have an experience in handling similar kind of cases to go ahaed?

district consumer forum has decide one case in favaor of complainant and directed electricity company to pay compensation to
complainant .we filed appeal along with condonation of delay & Depositing 80000(compensation amount) against the order before Hon'ble state commission,meanwhile complainant filed contempt petition as per section 27 of consumer protection act before forum we have raised objection in contempt petition The forum revised the order and decline /denied to grant compensation to the complainant meanwhile Hon'ble state commission Rejected the condonation of delay Application My question is whether electricity company can ask for Refund of the compensation amount which is deposited in state commission while filing appeal? Is it legal that main examination fee in a University is Rs.100/- per paper but revaluation fee is Rs.535/- per paper?

Dear Experts,
A friend of mine went to HDFC Bank to make deposits. The RM falsely sold regular premium ULIPs to him saying that he has to deposit money only once.
Only after receiving reminder for payments, he came to know that he has been cheated.
What recourse he has on bank and the RM ?

I have filed a suit against my tenant as he is not vacating even after a year and half of completion of his lease period.
Every time he do not appear in front of the court and every time we get new date for hearing. I have also paid 74000 as a penalty as I have to produce the leave agreement which is made on 100 rs stamp paper as an evidence.
What so we do, i am in great distress and even my lawyer is not doing anything to speed up the process. I am very much ignorant to all the court practice.
I need this house for my parents who are old now and no immedate medical help is around i needed.
Now this case is in court for more then a year and nothing is happening.
Could you please help me.

In Central Government department Promotions are not released if any disciplinary case or court Cases are pending against the employee.Does this mean that involvement of Govt. Servant in any court cases other than their departments lets say some petty assault case or domestic violence cases which are even if pending with court for long duration do not allow employees to earn their promotions for long period of trial

Summary suit
Sir!
I have a query in regard to summary suit and need an opinion in regard to the facts of our case:
1.) We are Transport service Provider and have provided services to a ‘Pvt. Ltd. Co.’ during 2004-2007.
2.) They have made a default in making the payment during 2007 and thus we have sue them in the court, and till date the suit stand in the process of hearing.
3.) We have all complete records of the services made together with the acknowledgement receipts. Finally they have accepted their liability but the Interest to be charged on the sum stands disputed (as we did not have a agreement in regard to the Interest to be charged in case of non-payment/delayed payment. However in the terms and conditions it is mentioned that payment to be made within 30 days)
I would like to know what Interest I am entitled to receive keeping in the above matters. Also, Whether I am eligible for 18.25% interest with monthly rest as mentioned for clean overdraft category in SBI’s advance rates?
