Sirs,
I joined a private organization in last july and worked till august end. Till I was there, I was not at all doing jobs relating to my field of studies in my college. Initially, i signed a bond for 2 years. Else i've to pay 2 lakhs. I couldn't stay there only. Also, they didn't mention anything regarding working hours. Its almost 13 hours a day and 6 and a half days a week. Hence i decided to quit. But, now i've a fear that i might get a legal notice to pay 2 lakhs. I kindly need your advice sir. Should i face it legally or go to company n face it by myself? I am ready to pay expenses incurred by me. I worked for like only one and a half months. For that i can't pay 2 lakhs right? Thats why sir. Kindly help me. That will be really helpful for me..

The employer is linked with LIC for payment of gratuity to employees.The gratutiy of Rs.4 lakhs of an emplyee was received from the LIC on 10-07-2002 by the employer.But the gratuity to the employee was disbursed on 05-01-2013 by the Management.The institution is a commercial cooperative bank and lending loans at the rate of 11% to public and members.Whether mesne profit for the utilisation of the amount in business from10-07-2002 to 05-01-2013 could be calimed from the management in addition to the interest awarded by the controlling authority?

I run coaching institute in mumbai in rented premises (proprietorship firm). It has two branches in mumbai and one in delhi. my queries are
1 Bombay shops and establishment is applicabe to me or not?
2 For two branches in mumbai should I obtain two registration with same proprietor or one registration with two banches?
3 What should do with the registration of delhi branch?

Departmental Promotion Committee meeting held on and thereafter the deliberation sent to Department of Personal and Training, for consideration. The date and name of the person presided over the DPC has been disclosed but has refused to disclosed the deliberation of the DPC as confidential because of its pending consideration.
My query is under which rule and provision the said deliberation of the DPC can be termed as confidential before the approval.

The controlling authority passed orders for payment of gratuity with interest.But the employer coerced the employee to get gratuity without interest and obtained an undertaking to this effectehile paying gratuity as per order.What action could be taken for the recovery of interest

I am worked in DRDO under ministry of defence central government job as senior tech asst for 6 years 9 months from 03-04-2000 to 04-01-2007 with my diploma qualification
i have joined in BEML PSU under ministry of defence from 05-01-2007 to till date with technical resignation and with proper channel
My query is whether my previous service will be protected at my present job

I am working in a bank under CTC salary structure . Many employees who are of the same grade and doing similar work are under IBA salary structure and are paid 50% more than what CTC employees are paid. Can we use the equal remuneration act and ask for equal salaries for both CTC and IBA employees in same grade ?

Standing orders
Dear Sirs,
I wanted to know if ITES Industry (Call Centers, BPO's) come under the purview of Standing Orders Act in Tamil Nadu.
Is it mandatory for Call Centers to have Standing Orders registered with Lab.Dept.
As per our knowledge it is applicable to Industrial Employments and ITES do not come under Industrial Employment as it is part of Shop & Establishment.
Kindly share your views.
