Final Maintenance

Hi,

I have read that Permanent alimony can't be denied even if Interim Maintenance is denied. In my case HMA 24 was denied. I need few judgments where final alimony was also denied as i don't have any assets moreover she is earning more than me.

Please advise.

Apex Court decision on Women in live-in relationship

Dear Sir,

1. Why the Apex court has decided not to provide alimony for the women who have been in live-in relationship whereas each and every case will be unique?

2. Chances are there that man might have lured the woman to come and live with him and later he might have ditched her. So what happens to such women?

Regards...

Maintenance

My sister suffered DV in her in laws and we brought her back from her matrimonial home in April,2010. We did not take any immediate legal action with an expectation of future improvements through discussion and counsellings. Now even if we are inviting them over phone to come and resolve the matter, they are denying. Can we lodge legal procedure for her Maintenance now? Will the time-gap of this 6-7 months will have any negative impact on the case? She is having a minor baby also.
