How is the payment for mediators in mediation centers? Do they get paid only for settling cases, or basic payment plus any incentive if the case is settled? My advocate told me that the mediator press for mutual divorce because he will get money only if the case is settled.

Sir/Madam,
My father had purchased a flat before his marriage. After his mariage, as per goa communion of assets law, my mother become 50% co-sharer in th flat. After my fathers death, 50% right devolved upon my mother, 25% to me and 25% to my sister, married. Now my sister (+ her husband) wishes to gift her entire 25%, along with her my mother also wishes to gift her entire 50%, to me. Is this legally valid?? Does the portuguese law of "Disposable quota" aplly to self-acquired property as is the case with my father?

Hi
I would like to know about the law/rule as in which religion can the child opt for in inter religious marriage?
I am a HINDU(NAIR-OC ) and my husband is a muslim (Mapla- BC). Neither of us are converted. now we are blessed with a baby boy. R we free to choose any religion from mine or his for the baby? or is it mandatory that the child will follow father's religion?
Kindly clear my doubt.
