Is there a rule that the divorce can not be filed before 1 year of marriage.

My father died 1year back. I got married 5 months back. At the time of marriage, my mother promised my in laws a house which was in my father's name. And also my father said to my brother to give one of his apartments to me before his death. Now I dont want to take the property. Can I reject taking property by not signing the registration documents .....

Hi, It is 7 months as i got married. Its an arranged marriage but not registered. I found my husband has cheated me since he had affair and he is continuing it even after marriage. He got anticipatory bail on the day of marriage since his lover filed cheating case against him in All women police station. Im not aware of it. He used to harrass me physically and mentally.after marriage. Hence i got aborted in 3 months. I have proofs of those. Please tell me how can i proceed with law since i dont want to live with him.

Dear Experts,
My friend was living in Bangalore with her husband and cameout from home because of some distrubances in her life. and she gone back to her parents home, Now if she wants to file a divorece case, should she file in bangalore familiy court or court at her parents home where marrriage performed and marriage got rigistered place. Please advise.

Dear All,
last year my husband applied for Divorce and Child custody, as i am suffering with HIV, he has proof that my mother and father also have HIV prior to our marriage, some how he and KID has not infected, our case hasn't closed yet due to Judges shuffle, last month i as said by judge we have showed KID to them. but my husband and their family tried to see the kid at that time there is quarrel happend and we filed the case at PS under 324, however they got the bail.
we have next hearing in this month all together ( Maintenance, Divorce and Child custody)
can you please advise me what type of document i need to submit to get the maintenance from my husband by showing his financial status.

R/sir,
Civil Court senior Division allow my application of divorce but directed to continue pay maintenance of section 24 appl. as a permanent allimoney in absence of any issue or application under section 25 of act. I made appeal in District court on this allimoney only, She appeared and filed application under section 24 again in my appeal.
Hence request that, did her application tenable or not in appeal. suggest citation related same issue. Thanking you

I got married as per Hindu act in Delhi in May 2013.
After a month, I found that she had physical relations with a couple of people before marriage . The source was that I had got hold of some of the tests that she had been asked to do Chlamydia was one of this test.
Later , when I confronted her , she begged to continue our marriage and I had agreed. Now Last month, her parents came to take her to their home in Kanpur saying that she will come back after 10 days , however even after 20 days she has not come back and not picking my calls.
Now I am afraid that she has a malicious intent and may want to implicate me in false cases.
I am afraid that since she in Kanpur and I am in Delhi that if she files a complaint against me in Kanpur, police may arrest me, take to Kanpur.
Is there any precautionary step which I can take to avoid this arrest.
WHAT IF , IMMEDIATELY I GO TO MY LOCAL POLICE STATION AND FILE A COMPLAINT (NOT FIR) STATING THAT SHE HAS GONE WITH HER PARENTS WILLINGLY AND THAT SHE CAN THREATEN ME & MY FAMILY AND HENCE DO NOT GIVE ANY IMPORTANCE TO HER. I CAN ALSO GET THE DIARY NUMBER OF THE COMPLAINT
WILL THIS AVOID IMMEDIATE ARREST IF SHE FILES A FALSE COMPLAINT? I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS WILL BE TAKEN AS A DISPUTED MATTER AND IF KANPUR POLICE COMES , WE CAN STATE THE COMPLAINT THAT WE HAVE ALREADY MADE AND IT WILL BE TAKEN AS A COURT MATTER AND NOT IMMEDIATE ARREST.
